RIDE-FEST BIRMINGHAM

• Teams from the business community across Birmingham compete to see who can cycle the furthest in 24 hours.

• The 24 hours are split up into 48 × 30-minute slots

• Colleagues choose the slot they want to cycle via the microsite event schedule.

• Each team will get a static bike delivered to their office before the event and then collected after the event.

• Team cycles the static bike for 24 hours in 30-minute or 60-minute time slots.

• After each cycling slot, cyclists submit the distance they cycled via this LINK, which gets updated to the event LEADERBOARD.

• Teams also set up a fundraising page and donate to their chosen charity

• Everyone will meet at a local venue after the challenge for prizegiving and celebrations.

• Cycle your static bike as far as you can during the 24-hour event period.

• Submit the distance you have cycled at the end of your session via this LINK.

• Choose a charity to raise money for and set up a fundriaisng page.

• Post photos and videos of your team on your socials.

How far do I need to cycle?
We’re asking companies to cycle as far as they can in 24 hours.

How long do I need to cycle for?
The 24 hours will be split up into 48 × 30-minute slots.

How many slots can I cycle for?
As many as you like, as long as you do not cycle consecutive slots.

Every team will receive

• A static bike (Watt Bike). This is a free-wheeling static bike which gives you (in our opinion) the closest experience to riding a normal road bike.

• Each bike has a digital screen to tell you the distance you cycle

• Each team will be given full instructions and an electronic link to submit the distance they have covered.

• All the kit above will be delivered and collected and pre event also risk assessment provided.

To enter the event there is a registration fee per company of £350.00.

This can be paid by credit card, BACS transfer and invoices can be issued first.
