Your Journey…

DAY 1 - London to Newhaven & Dieppe | 60.5 miles | Elevation gain 935m | MAP

We’ll set off from London shortly after 09:30am after the morning rush hour. As it is day 1 there are frequent stops and the pace is gentle to give us the opportunity to get into the challenge. It won’t take too long for us to wind our way out of London and enter the peace and quiet of the Kent & Sussex countryside.

The morning ride is sometimes described as hilly, we’ll be honest, it is, but this is the toughest section of the whole ride. After regular stops to recharge, we’ll stop at a lovely country pub for a really well-earned lunch.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Newhaven, but you’ll be pleased to hear, the route is predominately downhill. Our snack stops by Haywards Heath & Plumpton Green will keep you going, and upon arrival in Newhaven, there will be facilities available for you to use to freshen up for your night on the ferry.

As we wait for the overnight ferry we will have an evening meal and you will get a well-earned break and be able to reflect on completing the hardest cycling day during your evening meal on the ferry.

We will board the ferry at 11pm and you will be in 4-berth cabins. Get to sleep as quickly as you can as the morning ferry alarm will wake you up at 4.30am!

DAY 2 - Dieppe to Beauvais

After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 2 journey to St. Micheal, which, we’ll be honest, is a tough day. The route is varied but there will be frequent water and food stations located at least every 10-15 miles along the way.

We will start by riding through the outskirts of Dieppe, heading towards Neufchatel-en-Bray and Forges-les-Eaux where we will have our morning break. After the initial quiet French country roads, we will be on a traffic-free cycle path for the morning.

We will continue our journey towards St Micheal, having a break for lunch on the way, and a well-earned rest. After our lunch break, we will have a varied ride to our hotel, with the knowledge that when arrive we will only be 65 miles from Paris!

Upon arrival in St Michael, we will check into our hotel. Rooms will be twin en-suite rooms, but single rooms available for an additional supplement and subject to availability.

After you have had the chance to rest and freshen up we will meet for dinner and drinks (not too many - save them for Paris!) in a local restaurant, where we can share our stories of riding through northern France.

DAY 3 - Beauvais to Paris | 77.3 miles | Elevation gain 760m | GPX File | MAP

After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 3 journey to the finish line, Paris. Like day 2 the route is varied, but unlike any other ride, you will be riding Stage 21 (where we can, as some of the route will be closed for preparation) of the 2025 Tour de France!!!

The day will start with a gentle ride to Ballial-sur-Therain, where we will stop for pastries and coffee and a briefing on the Tour-de-France stage we will ride.

Then, we will continue our journey by riding some of the 2025 Tour de France route. You will experience riding in your own peleton, through the villages and towns, along the river, and even through villages and countryside. The route then heads to Versailles for our lunch stop.

After lunch, we will then continue our journey north along the edge of the river, where we will have lunch, knowing that we’ll have less than 15 miles of the challenge left. This final 15 miles will include the world-famous end of the Tour de France, a cycle up the Champs d’Elysses and around part of the Arc de Triomphe!

After lunch, we will very quickly enter the outskirts of Paris and then into the city. There are lots of junctions on the route, so it will be a stop-start. We will remain in our groups until our finish line, the Eiffel Tower, where we will celebrate. We will then cycle the short distance to our hotel, check in, freshen up, and have a celebration meal, where you will also be able to, perhaps, present your very own Yellow, Green, and polka-dot jerseys!
