Your Journey…

Please note that the detailed routes below may change.

Our 320-mile (515 km) challenge will start at 7.00am from outside the EY London Bridge Office - 1 More London Pl, London SE1 2AF.

DAY 1 - London to Dover | 92 miles (148km) | 959m Elevation | Route

We’ll set off from London shortly after 7.00 am before the morning rush hour. As it is day 1 there are frequent stops and the pace is gentle to give us the opportunity to get into the challenge. It won’t take too long for us to wind our way out of London and enter the peace and quiet of the Kent countryside.

The morning ride is sometimes described as hilly, we’ll be honest, it is, but this is the toughest section of the whole ride. After regular stops to recharge, we’ll stop at a lovely country pub for a really well-earned lunch.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Dover, but you’ll be pleased to hear, the route is predominately flat, with only one late hill into Dover.

Our snack stops by Paddock Wood & Ashford will keep you going, and upon arrival in Dover. You will get a well-earned break and be able to reflect on completing the hardest cycling day while on the ferry to Dunkirk. We arrive in Dunkirk at 9pm and will check into our hotel after a short cycle from the ferry port.

DAY 2 - Dunkirk to Ouddorp | 116.2 miles | 147m elevation | Route

After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 2 journey to Renesse, which, we’ll be honest, is a long day. The route is entirely flat, but there will be frequent water and food stations located at least every 10-15 miles along the way.

We will start by riding through the outskirts of Dunkirk, heading towards Veurne, Bruges, and Brekens, via the French, Belgian, and Dutch city and coastal cycle paths.

When we arrive in Breskens, we will catch the Westerschelde Ferry to Vlissingen. We will have a well-deserved break at this point, knowing that we will have covered more than 75% of the day’s ride.

When we arrive in Ouddorp, we will have a well-earned rest and meal at our hotel, with the knowledge that we cycled more two two-thirds of the route!

DAY 3 - Ouddorp to Amsterdam | 78.8 miles | 169m elevation | Route

After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 3 journey to our destination, Amsterdam. Like day 2, the route is entirely flat and you will be cycling 78 miles. There are water and food stations at least every 10-15 miles.

Our ride will start with us all cycling towards Rotterdam and then along the famous canals, on towards Leiden and Alphen Den-Rhein, where we will stop for a well-earned lunch.

After lunch, we will continue on the final leg of our journey, and we will very quickly enter the outskirts of Amsterdam and then cycle into the south of the city. The cycle paths have many junctions, so it will be stop-start.

We will remain in our groups until we reach the EY Amsterdam Office, where we will celebrate our success!

After that, we will check into our hotel and have a celebration meal to reflect on the challenge we have achieved.
