Thank you for renting a bike with my-cycle.co.uk.
As part of the rental agreement, we need you to complete the following form for us. Once complete the payment schedule will be set up with the agreed fee. We can accept payments monthly or quarterly and via direct debit or bank transfer.
Once you have completed and submitted the form a member of the team will be in touch to confirm and share our bank details for payment set up..
One of the team will be back in touch very soon to share further details about setting up your regular payment.
Hire Bikes – Terms and Conditions
To ensure you know exactly what our and your responsibilities are, please read the following terms and conditions. We do not require deposits for bikes but by accepting the terms and conditions you agree that if your hire bike is not returned in a rideable condition you agree to pay £200 +vat charge.
Hire Bikes
By accepting the bike(s) the hirer accepts that they are in good technical, safe and clean condition and must be returned in the same condition. Bikes and equipment hired remain the property of The Fundraisng Agency Limited.
The hirer is obliged to take good care of the bike hired and take all precautions necessary to protect from damage or theft. All the bikes are regularly maintained and inspected prior to each hiring as the safety of the client is paramount.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to double-check the bike and report any damage prior to setting off.
Should you wish to transport the hire bikes to another location, this is done so at the hirer’s own risk and cost.
All of our bikes are serviced regularly and safety is checked before each ride.
Helmets are not compulsory on Britain’s roads however; we can supply these at an extra cost to your hire and recommend you wear them.
We cannot be held responsible for any damage or injuries incurred as a result of customers not wearing a helmet.
Cyclists are expected to follow the Highway Code and any other cycling code applicable.
You undertake to cycle carefully and sensibly at all times and not undertake any manoeuvres which are beyond your level of skill or beyond the design purposes of the bicycle provided.
We reserve the right not provide a bicycle for whatever reason in the interests of safety.
You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of the bicycle and any accessories provided with it which remains the property of The Fundraising Agency Limited at all times. You are responsible for ensuring that the bicycle is kept clean, is securely locked to an immovable object when left unattended and is stored undercover over-night.
You agree to indemnify The Fundraising Agency Limited for any loss or damage arising from any act or default on your part and against claims of injury to any third party or yourself.
By hiring a bicycle from The Fundraising Agency Limited you are acknowledging that you have read our terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.
