Route…

DAY 1 - London to Newhaven & Dieppe | 53.4 miles | Elevation gain 909m | GPX File | MAP

We’ll set off from London shortly after 08.00 am after the morning rush hour. As it is day 1 there are frequent stops and the pace is gentle to give us the opportunity to get into the challenge. It won’t take too long for us to wind our way out of London and enter the peace and quiet of the Kent & Sussex countryside.

The morning ride is sometimes described as hilly, we’ll be honest, it is, but this is the toughest section of the whole ride. After regular stops to recharge, we’ll stop at a lovely country pub for a really well-earned lunch.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Newhaven, but you’ll be pleased to hear, the route is predominately downhill. Our snack stops by Haywards Heath & Plumpton Green will keep you going, and upon arrival in Newhaven, you will get a well-earned break and be able to reflect on completing the hardest cycling day during your evening meal on the ferry.

Facilities will also be available for you to use to freshen up on the ferry. We will arrive in Dieppe at approximately 10.00 pm (local time) and will cycle the short distance to our hotel. Please do let us know if you wish to share with anyone when you complete the Rider Form after registering.

DAY 2 - Dieppe to Beauvais, 69.1 miles

You’ll be pleased to hear that the route on Day 2 is considerably flatter and largely traffic-free. Cycling starts around 9:30 a.m., with a short section to the Avenue Verte, a flat and paved traffic-free cycle route.

After several short stops, and having covered 35 miles, we will break for snacks in the delightful French village, of Haussez.

After this short stop, we will get back on our bikes and cycle to Gournay-en-Bray where we will stop for lunch and maybe a game of Petanque. After lunch, we will be back on the Avenue Verte for the final 18m stretch to Beauvais. Again there are plenty of snack stations along the beautiful tree line route.

Upon arrival in Beauvais, you will have time to relax, freshen up, and reflect on Day 2. Explore the town; it is a hidden gem, and the Cathedral is breathtaking. Later that day we will meet for an evening in one of the local restaurants, where you’ll also have the chance to enjoy some local food and wine before you sink into bed ahead of our final day, the ride to Paris!!

DAY 3 - Beauvais to Paris | 77.3 miles | Elevation gain 760m | GPX File | MAP

After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 3 journey to the finish line, Paris. Like day 2 the route is varied, but unlike any other ride, you will be riding Stage 21 (where we can, as some of the route will be closed for preparation) of the 2025 Tour de France!!!

The day will start with a gentle ride to Ballial-sur-Therain, where we will stop for pastries and coffee and a briefing on the Tour-de-France stage we will ride.

Then, we will continue our journey by riding some of the 2025 Tour de France route. You will experience riding in your own peleton, through the villages and towns, along the river, and even through villages and countryside. The route then heads to Versailles for our lunch stop.

After lunch, we will then continue our journey north along the edge of the river, where we will have lunch, knowing that we’ll have less than 15 miles of the challenge left. This final 15 miles will include the world-famous end of the Tour de France, a cycle up the Champs d’Elysses and around part of the Arc de Triomphe!

After lunch, we will very quickly enter the outskirts of Paris and then into the city. There are lots of junctions on the route, so it will be a stop-start. We will remain in our groups until our finish line, the Eiffel Tower, where we will celebrate. We will then cycle the short distance to our hotel, check in, freshen up, and have a celebration meal, where you will also be able to, perhaps, present your very own Yellow, Green, and polka-dot jerseys!
