Challenge information…

How it works…

Tour de Paternoster is a static cycle challenge taking place in Paternoster Square, City of London, from 8.30am to 5.30pm on Thursday 12th September 2024.

Each of the eight-static bikes will be comprised of teams of colleagues from surrounding businesses, who will register to compete against each other to see who can go the furthest on the day.

Each team registered will need to cycle 18 x 20-minute slots (you can select these once you have registered) and there is no minimum or maximum number of people you can have in your team.

Teams will set up a Just Giving fundraising page to raise money for our charity partner Future Dreams.

Any support required for this please contact Claire Richman via email at Claire@futuredreams.org.uk and Lucie.Frater@savillspm.co.uk

Our support…

If you have not taken part in a challenge like this before it can be quite daunting. There is no need to worry about anything as we’ll be on hand to support you every step of the way.

From the moment you register right up to the end of the challenge, we will be available to answer any questions you may have about your training, fundraising, preparation, and the challenge.

We will also connect you with other riders via group chat, and let you know about all the other activities taking place on the day.

HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE?
With the right
training and mental attitude, this can be a great introduction to static and road cycling. This is a great event that experienced and relatively new cyclists can enjoy together. If you have any health issues or are concerned about the physical nature of this challenge, then do visit your doctor. They’ll be best placed to advise you on whether or not it’s a good idea for you to take part. This is a challenging experience and not a race. Go at your own pace, soak up the atmosphere and make friends as you go. Our challenge team will make sure that no one gets left behind, so all you have to do is enjoy the ride!
