DAY 1 - London to Dover | 74 miles (124km) | 978m Elevation | Strava Detailed Route

We’ll set off from Orpington in London shortly after 7.00 am before the morning rush hour. As it is day 1 there are frequent stops and the pace is gentle to give us the opportunity to get into the challenge. It won’t take too long for us to wind our way out of London and enter the peace and quiet of the Kent countryside.

The morning ride is sometimes described as hilly, we’ll be honest, it is, but this is the toughest section of the whole ride. After regular stops to recharge, we’ll stop at a lovely country pub for a really well-earned lunch.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Dover, but you’ll be pleased to hear, the route is predominately flat, with only one late hill into Dover.

Our snack stops by Paddock Wood & Ashford will keep you going, and upon arrival in Dover. You will get a well-earned break and be able to reflect on completing the hardest cycling day while on the ferry to Dunkirk. We arrive in Dunkirk at 9pm and will check into our hotel after a short cycle from the ferry port.

DAY 2 - Dunkirk to Ouddorp, 111 miles (179 km) | 201m Elevation | Strava Detailed Route S1 & S2

You’ll be pleased to hear that the route on day 2 is very flat. Cycling starts around 7.00am along a beautiful coastal route. After a number of short stops, and having covered 36-miles, we will take a break from cycling for breakfast.

After breakfast, we will be back on the road for a stretch to Breskens, which is where we take the ferry across the estuary to Vlissingen. There will be plenty of stops in this section and a nice lunch to enjoy at the end of it.

After a 30-minute ferry journey, we will have just 35 miles (58km) to Ouddorp, our final destination for day 2. Again there will be plenty of snack stations along the beautiful coastal route.

Upon arrival, you will have time to relax, freshen up, and reflect on day 2 and freshen up in your hotel rooms. We will have dinner in the hotel and chance to rest in this coastal resort so we can prepare for our ride to Amsterdam!

DAY 3 - Ouddorp to Amsterdam, 73 miles (124 km) | 185m Elevation | Strava Detailed Route

By now, your legs may be aching and fatigue may be setting in, so we won’t get you out of bed too early. We’ll gather after a full breakfast and aim to set off by 8.00am. There are a few hills to conquer on this leg, but by now you’ll be ready for them.

After a well-earned lunch stop, Amsterdam will soon be in our sights. Savor that triumphant feeling as you cycle towards the City Centre where the fizz will be flowing. You’re welcome to invite friends and family to join the team cheering you safely into Amsterdam.

Do tell them to contact us to get further details and where to meet us. After the initial celebration, we’ll check into our hotel and head to a local restaurant for a celebratory meal. On the following day, we will return home where you will be reunited with your bike.
