London to Amsterdam 3-day Route
Day 1: London to Dover
78.4 miles | 787m elevation | Route
After some team photos and a rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 1 journey to Dover.
Our ride will start from Orpington Premier Inn, London at 7.00 am. After cycling through the outskirts of London, we will very quickly be in the peace and quiet of the Kent countryside. A mixture of uphills and downhills through the Kent villages we’ll arrive in Newchurch for our lunch.
After lunch, we will continue our journey to Dover. The route is predominately flat, with only one small hill just before Dover. Upon arrival in Dover, we will board the 6.00 pm ferry to Dunkirk.
Aboard the ferry, you will get a well-earned break, a hot meal, and the chance to reflect on our day of cycling. We arrive in Dunkirk at 9.00 pm and will cycle the small distance to our hotel.
London to Amsterdam 4-day Route
Day 1: London to Dover

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Dover. The route is predominately flat, with only one small hill just before Dover. Upon arrival in Dover, we will board the 6.00 pm ferry to Dunkirk.
Aboard the ferry, you will get a well-earned break, a hot meal, and the chance to reflect on our day of cycling. We arrive in Dunkirk at 9.00 pm and will cycle the small distance to our hotel.
Day 2: Dunkirk to Ouddorp
114.6 miles | 263m elevation | Route
After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 2 journey to Ouddorp, which, we’ll be honest, is a tough day. The route is entirely flat but there will be frequent water and food stations located at least every 10-15 miles along the way.
We will start by riding through the outskirts of Dunkirk, heading towards Veurne, Bruges and Brekens, via the French, Belgian and Dutch city and coastal cycle paths
When we arrive in Breskens we will catch the Westerschelde Ferry to Vlissingen. We will have a well-deserved break at this point knowing that we will have covered more than 75% of the day’s ride.
From the other side of this ferry journey, we will have 36 miles to go. this is the toughest part but our guides will support you.
When we arrive in Ouddorp we will have a well-earned rest and meal at our hotel, with the knowledge that we are only 70 miles from Amsterdam!
Day 2 - Dunkirk to Renesse
106.2 miles | 147m elevation | Route
After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 2 journey to Renesse, which, we’ll be honest, is a long day. The route is entirely flat but there will be frequent water and food stations located at least every 10-15 miles along the way.
We will start by riding through the outskirts of Dunkirk, heading towards Veurne, Bruges, and Brekens, via the French, Belgian, and Dutch city and coastal cycle paths
When we arrive in Breskens we will catch the Westerschelde Ferry to Vlissingen. We will have a well-deserved break at this point knowing that we will have covered more than 75% of the day’s ride.
When we arrive in Renesse we will have a well-earned rest and meal at our hotel, with the knowledge that we cycled more than half of the route!
Day 3: Ouddorp to Amsterdam
83.2 miles | 241 m elevation | Route
After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 3 journey to the finish line, Amsterdam. Like day 2 the route is entirely flat and you will be cycling 88 miles. There are water and food stations at least every 10-15 miles.
Our ride will start with us all cycling towards Rotterdam. After crossing the Erasmus Bridge we’ll take a break before heading north to Alphen aan del Rijn for lunch.
After lunch we’ll have less than 25 miles of the ride left. and soon will be on the outskirts of Amsterdam. The cycle paths have many junctions, so it will be stop-start. We will remain in our groups until our finish line, the Rijksmuseum, where will celebrate.
After our initial celebrations, we will check into our hotel and have a celebration meal and many more drinks in a local restaurant.
Day 3 - Renesse to Rotterdam
70.8 miles | 190m elevation | Route
After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 3 journey to our destination, Rotterdam. Like day 2 the route is entirely flat and you will be cycling 70 miles. There are water and food stations at least every 10-15 miles.
Our ride will start with us all cycling towards Rotterdam and then on to KinderDijk. We will stop here for Lunch and visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of the beautiful backdrop of the traditional Dutch windmills.
We will continue our journey north along the edge of the famous canals knowing that we will have less than 25 miles of the day’s ride to go.
We will very quickly enter the outskirts of Rotterdam and then cycle into the city. The cycle paths have many junctions, so it will be stop-start.
We will remain in our groups until Vlardigenen, where will check into our hotel and have an evening meal, knowing that we only have one day and just over 50 miles of the challenge to go!
Day 4 - Rotterdam to Amsterdam
51.7 miles | 86m elevation | Route
After our morning rider briefing, we will all set off on our day 4 journey to our finish line, Amsterdam. Like day 3 the route is entirely flat and you will be cycling just over 50 miles. Again water & food stations will be every 10-15 miles.
Our ride will start with us all cycling towards the north Holand Canals and then on towards Leiden. We will stop here for Lunch at a place called Alphen aan den Rijn, but the beautiful lake.
We will continue our journey north along the edge of the famous canals knowing that we will have less than 20 miles of the day’s ride to go.
We will very quickly enter the outskirts of Amsterdam and then cycle into the city. The cycle paths have many junctions, so it will be stop-start.
We will remain in our groups until the Rijksmuseum, where will celebrate our success! After that, we will check into our hotel and have a celebration meal, to reflect on the challenge we have achieved.
